40 years of friendship, all those memories. I’m going to miss Steve so much. Close friends since middle school, so many school days, and so many nights out in Pulborough, Petworth, Midhurst, Littlehampton, Worthing, Bognor, Steyning and Brighton, and lots of rides in the countryside. Steve was the most constant solid friend you could ever want. A genuine and thoughtful person who would want to help a mate when they needed it. I know he knew how valuable that was in life. He was always ready to hop on a bike and meet anywhere, and I can’t believe we don’t have that anymore.
We lost another close friend, Paul, 2 and a half years ago. The Three Stooges (and The Three Amigos) Steve called us. I needed Steve to remember everything about Paul when he died. Can't process that now and what it means to remember them both without each of them to bounce memories around with. I just hope that they're together somewhere now, playing pool and having a proper laugh. With the promise of some quality cheese on toast ready at the end of the night.
